Kotor Bay with Budva Tour

Starts on your demand!

This half day tour shows the best of Montenegrin cost – Small baroque village of Perast with famous island Our Lady of Rocks, Old Town of Budva with a photo stop at luxury resort St. Stefan, and finally magnificent Old Town of Kotor!

We start our tour from Kotor and drive 20 minutes straight to Pearst – the most complete baroque town in entire Adriatic Sea, tucked in between Kotor and Risan Bay.

Imposing architecture from 17th and 18th century dominates the main street and as we walk along the waterfront, irresistible sent of the old times bewitches our senses. Few floors high palaces and richly decorated churches reveal noble and decisive role of this only 2 kilometers wide settlement.
As we start walking along the Perast promenade, first to catch our eye standing proudly are two famous islands – Our Lady of Rocks and St. George.
Being the most visited and glorified men made isle in Montenegro, Our Lady of Rocks depicts turbulent history and big devotion in religion of locals who spent 200 years building it.

Born from a legend of two brother who found the painting of Virgin Mary in the middle of the sea, and swore to God to build a church at that very place starting rock by rock, Our Lady of the Rocks still stands as a base protector of all captains and seamen who even today deliver gifts as an expression of gratitude.
To reach the island we join the short boat ride and as we enjoy the stunning view of the “Black Mountain” in the background, we pass natural St. George isle, inhabited by the monks living in the 9th century church.
At the Our Lady of Rocks we have just enough time to visit the church where the original painting from the legend is preserved, as well as the museum of gifts located in the former priest’s residence.
As we return to Perast, we continue our tour with a short walk or free time (optional), and drive about 50 minutes straight to Budva where we met the Old Town within an interesting walking tour.

Budva is known as the most visited and most modern costal city in Montenegro. Besides attracting the tourists with its long and beautiful beaches and marvelous Old Town, this “queen of tourism” is also known by its diverse and crazy night life.

From Budva we continue our drive along the coast for about 20 minutes to reach the best view point of first luxury resort in Montenegro – Saint Stefan (Sveti Stefan). The island is connected to the shore with a tiny isthmus and it is 24/7 secured with guards, since the entrance to the island is allowed only to the resort guests.

From St. Stefan you can enjoy relaxed drive for an hour since our final stop is Old Town of Kotor.

The famous Old Town carries burden of 2.000 years long history, starting with ancient Illyrians, Romans, Byzantines, over Serbians, Venetians, Austro-Hungarians and finally Montenegrins.

We’ll visit six most important sites with our professional tour guide – Square of Arms, Flower Square, St. Tryphone square, Museum Square, St. Luke’s and Blessed Osanna square.
